A CLUE!

“Cumartesi” means “the day comes right after cuma” and “pazartesi” means “the day comes right after pazar”.

PAY ATTENTION!

Hafta içi” indicate from pazartesi (monday) to cuma (friday). “Hafta sonu” indicate from cumartesi (saturday) to pazar (monday).

5. EXAMPLE SENTENCES
  • Benim için pazartesi günü en yoğun gün. (Monday is the busiest day for me.)
  • Cuma günleri çok enerjik hissediyorum. (I feel very energetic on Fridays.)
  • Pazar günü evi temizledim. (I cleaned the house on Sunday.)
  • Hafta sonu evde dinlendim. (I rested at home on the weekend.)
  • Hafta içi üniversitede dersim var. (I have a class at the university during the week.)
  • Gelecek yıl haziranda mezun olacağım. (I will graduate in June next year.)
  • Her gün senin için hediyedir, kıymetini bil. (Every day is a gift for you, appreciate it.)
  • Ağustosta köyde olacağım. (I will be in the village in August.)
  • Yarın ne yapacaksın? (What will you do tomorrow?)
  • Yaz aylarında denize giderim. (I go to the sea in the summer.)
  • İlkbaharda her yerde çiçekler açar. (In the spring, flowers bloom everywhere.)
  • Kışın her yer bembeyaz olur. (Everything is white in winter.)
  • Sonbaharda yerlerde ağaç yaprakları olur. (In autumn, there are leaves on the floor.)
  • Soğuğu sevmem, kışı da sevmem. (I don’t like the cold, I don’t like the winter either.)
  • Kışın kalın giysiler giymeliyiz. (We have to wear thick clothes in winter.)
  • Yazın çok su içerim. (I drink a lot of water in the summer.)
  • Türkiye’de 4 mevsim vardır. (There are 4 seasons in Turkey.)
  • Her gece uyumadan önce dişlerimi fırçalarım. (I brush my teeth every night before I go to sleep.)
  • Her gece ve her sabah kitap okuyorum. (I read every night and every morning.)
  • Ocakta okullar tatil olacak. (Schools will be closed in January.)
  • Çarşamba günü beraber pazara gidelim mi? (Shall we go to the market together on Wednesday?)
  • Cumartesi günü akşam dizim var, gelemem. (I have a knee on Saturday evening, I can’t come.)
  • Yarın bir planın var mı? (Do you have any plans tomorrow?)
  • Düğünümüzü ağustos ayında yapacağız. (We will have our wedding in August.)
  • Kitabı bu gece bitirdim. (I finished the book tonight.)
  • Çamaşırları dün akşam yıkadım. (I did the laundry last night.)
  • Önümüzdeki hafta matematik sınavım var. (I have a math test next week.)
  • Haftaya İngilizce sınavım var. (I have an English exam next week.)
  • Gelecek hafta buluşalım mı? (Shall we meet next week?)
